Goodwill has been around for ten years, touching the lives of more than 5,000 underprivileged women in Bangkok.
As we think about new ways to magnify our impact, we have plans to open a second office in Ubon Rathchathani, in poverty-stricken Northeast Thailand. Targeting current high school students, recent graduates and high school dropouts, we aim to reach over 12,000 women and youth in the first three years. The skills we provide them with will better prepare them for jobs in Ubon or in Bangkok, for those who decide to migrate. Whatever they choose to do, Goodwill will be with them every step of the way, making sure they receive the necessary advice to make the right decisions and avoid common missteps, especially in a large city like Bangkok.
