จากแรกเริ่มจนถึงปัจจุบันมีผู้ให้ความสนใจเข้ามาสมัครเรียนกับทางมูลนิธิกลุ่มปรารถนาดีกว่า 3,500 คน ซึ่งในปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนจำนวน 450 คนที่ได้กำลังศึกษากับโครงการต่างๆ ของทางมูลนิธิฯ นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ต่างจังหวัดและเข้ามาหางานทำในกรุงเทพฯ อีกทั้งยังต้องออกจากโรงเรียนก่อนเวลาอันสมควรเพื่อหารายได้ให้แก่ครอบครัว

นักเรียนของเราวุฒิการศึกษาไม่เกินมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายโดยสำเร็จการศึกษาจากการศึกษานอกโรงเรียน ซึ่งโดยทั่วไปแล้วนักเรียนประกอบอาชีพแม่บ้านทำความสะอาด พี่เลี้ยงเด็ก โรงงานอุตสาหกรรม พนักงานสปา นวดแผนโบราณ เป็นต้น
